I Am Iron Man

Tony stark. One of the most common superhero names in today's world of pop culture.
As we all know iron man 3 came out last week and of course I went and saw it as soon as I possibly could, I mean come on.. Who wasn't excited as a child in a candy store when they saw the trailers?...
I have heard a lot of people say that it wasn't that great of a movie but I beg to disagree.. Firstly, it's Iron man and he kicks ass.
I can see where people were disappointed because there wasn't as much action as expected and tony did spend a good majority of the movie complaining about himself, just like Bruce Wayne did in the dark knight rises... But if you look past that then you will enjoy it.
Of those people that have said bad things about the film, most have gone to watch it again so there must be something good!
One of my most favourite characters would have to be Trevor. Without giving too much away, he is pretty much the turning point of the whole story.
As we all know, marvel films always tend to stick a little scene right at the end of the credits... It's really not worthy to wait around to see this one. I mean we know Avengers 2 is in production and I think it will be amazing no matter what, so don't feel the need to sit through almost 10min of credits just to see the iron man will be back.
Overall I would recommend going along to this, definitely if you have seen the others and avengers as it follows straight on from the events in New York.

Seeing as it has been a while since I last posted, I have managed to squeeze in another movie in these last few days. The Evil Dead.
Now what a horror movie this was, if anything, just go see it!
The slogan they have given it is "the scariest movie you will ever see" ... Hmmmmm, nah I wouldn't agree with that, but never the less, it is pretty damn scary.. And not to mention gory as well. Just what a good ol' horror movie should be.
Of course, don't go along looking for an in depth story line or great character development, because you won't find any trace of it. Even with a bit of a twist at the end, it's no big surprise.
Now 'The Evil Dead' is only showing in a select few cinemas so I would encourage you to go along if you can, preferably not by yourself... And have a good night of fun and being grossed out!

As for the music side of things this week I have been far too busy with work to be able to buy a new cd.. Which makes me very sad.
But being released this week is the new Eagles documentary which pretty much tells the whole story from beginning till today. I'm looking forward to this very very much so next week I might do a review on an album of theirs.
And also!! How could i forget, it is New Zealand Music Month!! So we should probably have a few bit and pieces from that category..
Bit of a short post this week, but have a few good things to be looking forward to, including StarTrek next week :D
But that is all for now

Till next time
